Migration/Duckhorn Driving Tour and Wine Tasting
Join us for a picturesque drive from Benicia/Cordelia to Napa through the Suisun Valley/Wooden Valley and Hwy121 ending at Migration Winery https://www.migrationwines.com/ a member of the Duckhorn Wine Group.
Start location is: Starbuck's Benicia - Solano Square
Gather at 8:30am, roll-off at 9:30am
We will have a group tasting and snack event at the winery, and will be privileged to meet member Barry Apter's daughter who is the winemaker at Migration.
This facility is one of about 6 that Duckhorn owns https://www.duckhorn.com/ and is the largest and produces wine for the various brands under the Duckhorn umbrella including the original Duckhorn label. Duckhorn is a premium brand that also produces Goldeneye from the Anderson Valley and Paraduxx on the Silverado Trail as well as more affordable labels such as Decoy and Canvasback, etc. Where we will be is a very nice and convenient location that does much of the production for all of them and we will have a nice, varied experience. Barry's daughter will give us a cook's tour of the facility and tell us about their operation.
